Communication and trust are the main pieces of the equation. And an understanding that people’s best work might happen outside of a standard 9-5 schedule, and that it’s okay.

We’ve been reserving our in-person days for mostly meetings and very little individual work. That way, we get one day in the week to connect, collaborate and share ideas, then use them for the rest of the week to work on our individual tasks.

We are in office 80% of the time, but we try to schedule work from home days at the same time. We find everyone works just as hard from home as in office.

Maintaining good communication is the most important thing.
